But according to fans who screenshotted Williams’ alleged response and uploaded it to Reddit and X, the happy news didn’t sit well with the pilates instructor.
“Luckily my boyfriend owns a team and doesn’t play for one. 🙏🏻 don’t have to be with another brain dead CTE athlete,” a reply credited to her account read in response to a fan who asked, “Haven’t found the next pro athlete yet?”
The comments have since been deleted from her page.

“My accounts have been hacked several times tonight,” Williams, 28, alleged on her Instagram Story, per multiple outlets including Us Weekly and PEOPLE. “Trying to get it resolved. If anyone has any tips please (let me know).”
Allen, 28, and Williams had known each other since they were kids and began a romantic relationship in 2017. But the pair called it quits in 2023, with Allen and Steinfeld dating not long afterwards.
During an appearance on Kelly Stafford‘s The Morning After podcast in 2022, Williams said she met Allen when the two were 8 year olds at a pool party.
“That was like our big first moment we remember about each other,” she recalled.
Later on, Williams invited Allen to a high-school dance, but the night did not go so smoothly.

“He was nervous and my friends were crazy,” Williams said. “He ghosted me for a year, but at the same time, I was like ‘OK I get it, things are just not in our timing right now,’ I knew it wasn’t meant to be.”
But the duo eventually got together when they were in college and after Allen was drafted by the Bills, Williams became a fan of the team.
“Watching your dreams come true was a moment I will never forget💙❤️ Here we come Buffalo! #BillsMafia” she wrote on Instagram (per PEOPLE).
Allen and Steinfeld, 27, were first linked in the spring of 2023, when they were photographed having dinner together in New York City. Months later, Allen acknowledged the two were dating, but asked the Associated Press not to mention Steinfeld by name in a bid to maintain their privacy.

Meantime, a source close to Allen and Steinfeld told PEOPLE that their families are happy the two are now engaged. “They’ve been head over heels from the start,” the insider said.
Allen’s NFL pals also cheered the news, including Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who wrote “Congratulations!!!”
But his comment prompted many of Swift’s fans to urge Kelce to pop the question next.
“Your move bro,” one person wrote, with another asking, “Ok, will you be next? The world is looking forward to it…”
The Bills are currently 10-2 and cruised to another AFC East championship following their 35-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers Sunday night.
